Understanding Teacher Attrition and Retention: The Role of Teacher Induction and Mentorship Programs

This website provides an overview of the pan-Canadian research project the purpose of which is to explore the differential impact of teacher induction and mentorship programs on the early-career teachers’ retention, as perceived across the provinces and territories. This research project has been funded by Insight Grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC).

It also describes various other research collaborations and international projects related to teacher induction and mentoring programs, professional development, and supports for early career teachers.
